Submitter's name: Josť Adolfo Segura
Title: Glasses at the 'bark'
Gear used: OM-4T + G-Zuiko AUTO-S 50mm/f1.4 + tripod + cable release + red filter Hoya R25A.
Diaphragm: Not registered
Shutter speed: Not registered
Film used: Fujichrome Provia 100 ASA.
Technical information: The light was very hard with an almost noon sun so I put the red filter only as an experiment and I liked the end result
Subject information: The theme 'Silhouettes' was hard for me and I took a lot of shots especially at sunset time. This one was the only at noon time, and I like the abstract mood I got almost without any logic.

This should be interesting to put up at an art exhibition without comment, and let the people wonder about the meaning of the composition.

Isn't it interesting how images of reading glasses seem to carry the "charge" of (presumably) the wearer. I find the multiple intersecting symbolic suggestions (glasses/red-black/charcoal drawing/natural material/shaggy sharp biting penislike/shadow) in this image very intriguing.

Comment left by: Brian Swale (no e-mail specified) Very inventive, very effective. I like it.

Comment left by: Chris Barker (no e-mail specified) A very clever result.
